Meet

the

designer.

My journey into design has not been a straight line, but every step has been driven by a strong interest in creative problem-solving and understanding how people interact with the world around them. It took exploration to find the area that felt like the right fit, but each experience helped shape my perspective on how thoughtful design can influence the way people think, behave, and engage with their environment.

I did not begin college knowing exactly where I wanted to end up, but I always knew I was drawn to creative, hands-on work. I started in Marketing and later explored Interior Design, both of which strengthened my interest in visual thinking, planning, and designing with people in mind. In the summer of 2025, I discovered UX design, and it quickly felt like the direction I had been searching for, a field where creativity, research, and problem-solving come together to create meaningful, user-centered experiences.

As my interests became clearer, I shifted my focus toward UX design while continuing my degree in Marketing and adding Management Information Systems as a dual major to better understand both the business and technical side of digital products. I also completed the Google UX Design Certificate, building a foundation in user research, interaction design, prototyping, and usability, and strengthening my ability to approach design with both creative and strategic thinking.

UX design allows me to combine creativity, research, and problem-solving with an understanding of how products are built and why they succeed. With a background in design, business, and technology, I am especially interested in creating experiences that are intuitive for users while also supporting the goals behind the product, and I am motivated to continue growing in a field where design, strategy, and technology are closely connected.
